Our Leadership Team

Central Oklahoma Habitat’s work is overseen by a board of directors and senior leadership staff who deeply believe that all people deserve a decent place to call home. Our board is responsible for establishing policy and guiding Habitat’s work to construct, rehabilitate, repair and improve housing in Central Oklahoma City. Now, 30 years young with over 1,040 houses built and counting, Central Oklahoma Habitat’s has become a major homebuilder in Oklahoma City, constructing some 50 houses a year.

Ann Felton Gilliland, CEO
Chairwoman and CEO • Central Oklahoma Habitat for Humanity

Ann joined the board of Central Oklahoma Habitat for Humanity (COHFH) in 1990 and currently serves as the chairman and CEO for the organization. When she began serving on the board there was no staff, little money, and the office was housed in a tiny room of a local Presbyterian ministry. Under her leadership, COHFH has gone from building 2-3 houses annually to 40-45, with over 1,025 Habitat homes now located in the Oklahoma City metro area.

Nancy Riddell: Remembering a Life in Service

It is with deep sadness that we say our final farewells to long-term COHFH board member Nancy Riddell, who passed from this life on December 15, 2020.

Nancy and her late husband, Harry, were such an integral part of the COHFH affordable housing ministry from its inception. Harry, who served on the first board, and Nancy who followed in his footsteps serving for nearly three decades. Nancy was a fixture at house dedications as she performed the blessings, presented the family with their new bible, or reading the liturgy. She also served on several COHFH committees during her tenure. A committed part of our organization, Nancy was the heartbeat of the board she so warmly embraced her many years.

Though we feel the loss deeply, we are comforted to know that she was welcomed into the kingdom of heaven with a hearty “Well done, good and faithful servant”, and is in the presence of the God she so faithfully served in her lifetime.
