Update From Central Oklahoma Habitat

Important Announcement

With your support, we can help 100 limited-income families a year remain rooted in a firm foundation. To reach our goal of more than doubling the number of repairs completed annually by 2023, Critical Home Repair (CHR) must: increase staffing, purchase additional equipment and increase its volunteer base.

What’s Happening at Habitat

Cornerstone Creek Development

We achieved an incredible feat in securing the purchase of 160 acres of land in far northwest Oklahoma City, near Piedmont, one of the most sought-after areas, for our brand-new development. Building Cornerstone Creek will help ease the burden happening in our backyard. Now that the Oklahoma City Council has approved the division’s plat survey, we hope to break ground on the property at the southwest corner of 150th and Morgan Rd. in the first quarter of 2023.

The development will happen in phases over the next eight-10 years and will, eventually, be home to more than 400 Habitat families. Our primary focus for 2023 is raising $3 million to fund the first development phase, building the necessary infrastructure for 91 houses.
